Apple Pie in the Sky Smoothie

This is probably the most delicious smoothie that I have made so far. Here’s how you do it!

APPLE PIE IN THE SKY SMOOTHIE

Gather all the things:

– 2 freshly juiced apples or 1 cup of apple juice
– 1 tbsp. cinnamon
– 2 tsp. nutmeg
– 2 tbsp. flax seeds
– 1 tsp. vanilla extract
– 1 cup walnuts or walnut butter
– 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
– 5 ice cubes

Optional: 1 cup vanilla protein powder

Put it all into a blender until you get the consistency you want.

HOMEMADE WALNUT BUTTER

If you would like to make my homemade walnut butter to add to your smoothie, here’s how:

Blend together walnuts, cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg and a few tablespoons of honey until creamy. I recommend a ninja or NutriBullet.

 

Twenty-eight billion opportunities

Americans throw away 28 billion bottles and jars each year. That is 28 billion opportunities to recycle. How many of that 28 billion are you? Today at work one of the managers was talking to me about people on her team that don’t recycle. One of them goes through six to eight bottles of Diet Coke per day.

People that don’t recycle annoy me. It is wasteful. There is no excuse because it is easy.

Semi-Superfood Smoothie

So I made this super yummy smoothie this morning that was super easy to make.

Gather all the things:

– 3 tbsp. scoops frozen strawberries
– 2 tbsp. scoops frozen blueberries
– 1 banana
– 10 spinach leaves
– 1 dollop vanilla Greek yogurt
– 1/4 cup fresh carrot juice
– 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Optional: 1 tbsp. flax seeds or chia seeds

Over the weekend, my two roommates and I threw the most dank housewarming party ever. We made this amazing lemon drop concoction that was a major hit and it’s super easy to make. Here’s how you do it.

LEMON DROP LEMONADE

First gather all the things:

– Three bottles of Simply Lemonade

– 1 handle of Tito’s vodka (1.75L)

– 1 bottle of triple sec

– 1 bottle of lemon juice

Great! Now that you have everything just throw it all together. Add lots of ice and stir. You’re done. Instant party pleaser and get everyone drunk drink. If you want to get fancy, go find some lemon drop sugar rim and coat your glass with that and lemon juice.

The best part, Tito’s handmade vodka. It’s five times distilled and has a better rating than Ketel One, Grey Goose and Belvedere.
